How is it owning a Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro in 2025? Awesome.

Not only do I own a Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro, but I also designed the best one I could imagine, tailored to everything I needed and wanted in a streaming device for free streaming.

Later, I brought this same incredible device to the marketplace, and well, here we are almost six years later.

When this all started, I had a plan: to stop offering the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 by January 5th, 2026. I was sure that by then, NVIDIA would have released its newest Nvidia Shield TV Pro.

Oh boy, was I wrong.

Here I am with my team, looking at another year of offering our incredible Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro.

Why? Because of Google and the stunt they are trying to pull by banning sideloaded APKs. I'd like to say I saw this coming, but I didn't. I did see them wanting to control your streaming devices more and more with every update they pushed. Which is why we stopped updating the software on the Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro we offer.

We locked the device on Android 9, version 8.2.1, and never looked back. Who knew at the time that would be the best decision for my business and for you all, too? Remember, I designed this device to bend to my will, not yours. You are just the beneficiaries of my madness. But hey, let’s call it a win-win, shall we?

Let me tell you why you need to trash all your other streaming devices and own only the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 before it's too late to get one.

Welcome everyone, to D3vicx (devices). We specialize in customizing and sideloading the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 so you can enjoy free TV entertainment worldwide.

Oh, and by the way, the Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro is the only streaming device that works anywhere in the world. All you need is an internet connection.

Now, this kind of freedom inevitably leads to a big question. So, let’s get right to it, is streaming piracy even illegal?

Is Streaming Piracy Illegal in the US?

How-is-it-Owning-a-Jailbroken-Nvidia-Shield-Pro

They lied, Streameast was not shutdown. Still buffer like crazy though.

In a nutshell, is streaming piracy illegal in the US? As of October 2025, there is nothing in our laws that says you cannot stream pirated content. So no, it is not technically illegal for the end-user to simply stream it.

Just be aware that laws are always changing, and you want to stay ahead of them. This is precisely why we recommend doing all your streaming on a dedicated, locked-down device to stay safe.

There were 15 years of peace in Hollywood, until Disney got greedy, pulled all its content from Netflix, and started up its own subscription app. Other companies followed suit. This was the end of streaming as we knew it.

Welcome to the newest era we like to call “Streaming Piracy.”

For a while, everything was going great. You had one low monthly payment where you could watch everything and anything all in one place on Netflix. This was a win-win, every company was now getting paid because they were licensing out their content and did no heavy lifting themselves.

Then I don’t understand why the Disney CEO thought it was a great idea to create their own app. This ended up costing tons of money, when they could have just gotten paid by licensing out their content to other platform. Disney, “don’t get bored with it, get paid with it.” - Myron Golden

Now we have all of these paid applications and high costs just to watch a TV show or a movie. First, cable got out of control and Streaming was supposed to solve that problem. But now Streaming is out of control and it looks like Streaming Piracy will solve it.

It's no wonder that Netflix considers HBO and Streaming Piracy to be their biggest threat and they are right when it comes to streaming piracy. Streaming piracy is taking Netflix's place by having all of its content under one app. Everything is easy to use and it’s all just click and play. It doesn’t matter if the content is from a paid or free subscription application; streaming piracy has access to it.

Now, all the big companies are trying to bundle their apps and offer a lower price. I think it’s way too late for that.

It’s predicted that by 2027, around two subscription applications may fold or be forced to combine. At this point, I see a lot of them folding. For too long, the focus has been on profit over simple usability for the customer.

And you see all these cute little YouTube videos with titles like, “Piracy is Back” or “Piracy Won”.

There is just one big problem. There is a huge difference between Piracy vs. Streaming Piracy. Let me explain below.

Piracy vs. Streaming Piracy, What is the Difference?

How-is-it-Owning-a-Jailbroken-Nvidia-Shield-Pro

This IPTV Seller got 5 years and had to pay millions in fines.

Piracy vs. Streaming Piracy, are these not the same thing? No, they are completely different in so many ways. Being legal and illegal is the main way, let me explain more below. I want you to know there is a difference between the two is important just in case someone comes knocking on your door.

Piracy is when you download content, share files, or have an IPTV Service. This is 100% illegal and you can get in some hot water with this. This is where copyright infringement comes into play.

Yes, IPTV Service is illegal and most buyers are not aware of this. If you are reading this blog fully, you are aware now. Cancel that mess.

See IPTV Sellers host these channels on their own servers and then use IPTV media players to give you, the customer access for a monthly fee. The problem is, the IPTV Seller doesn’t own these channels. This is why you are always seeing in the News an IPTV Reseller goes to jail and get hit with a huge fine. The buyers are not off the hook anymore. They are now fines going out to the buyer also, and the police have your information from the sellers data.

See IPTV Services falls under copyright infringement.

Then why are YouTubers, Bloggers, and people on Reddit telling me to get one? To be honest, I have no clue. I know some people are not aware and for others, I can not explain their motives. Remember, I don’t live in these people’s head and I don’t see what they see nor understand what they understand. I can only explain what it is that I know. And that is for you, the buyer to stay away from IPTV Services.

So, with all that risk, what's the way around it? Would you believe me if I told you “Streaming Piracy” because there are no laws against it yet in the US?

Well, when you look up IPTV Servers vs. when owners of the websites get caught it’s a slap on the wrist. The owner of the website most likely do not own a server that host the content. They are buying from the person or persons with the server and just hosting it on a website. The website has ads, this is how they are paid. For every visitor on there site who sees the ads they get paid from the ad company. They then in return pays the person who server they are pulling from. It’s a win-win for them all. The website owner is the middle man in all of this.

So with this information if someone is gifted with creating apps, why not move this over to that platform?

85% of the people in the world uses Android devices. Again, you host nothing, and the user pays nothing but has access to everything in one app which is just click and play. The ads pay you, the creator for all of these while the user gets to streaming anything and everything all in one place. These apps are search engines, and they pull from the internet. The internet is like the wild wild west, way too big to be policed by any government now, if you ask me.

These apps function as search engines, and search engines are legal. You can't control what they index. This is the legal grey area, the loophole we all like to use.

So what is the difference between streaming on a website vs. streaming on a streaming device? Oh, I’m so happy you asked, let’s talk about it more below.

Streaming Websites vs. Streaming Device. Which is better for Free Streaming Piracy?

Think about this, and just be open minded about it. Would you, in your right mind, put your personal information at risk just to watch something for free?

I’m talking about access to your whole life and even your money you have worked so hard for. All your bank information and anything else you see that is valuable?

I ask because when you visit these websites on your computers or even phones, all your personal information is there for the taking. That is, if the website was built to be that way.

When banking online, you sign in. When you buy something online, you use your credit card or bank card. Same with your phone. Sometimes you do things online that require you to take a photo of your ID and upload it to a website. You most likely keep that copy on your computer or phone without thinking about it.

You also visit these free websites to watch content for free without thinking about it, without thinking about what happens if something goes wrong and that website is not as legit as you thought. It’s letting you stream piracy for free while they collect money from ad companies by selling your data.

I’m not saying the APKs are any better.

Take Mobdro. They got caught putting malware on its APK that sent your information and habits to a third-party company in exchange for money. See, if I remember right, Mobdro didn’t have ads and people loved it until VirusTotal caught them in the act with the malware. Now, you don’t even hear about Mobdro anymore.

My point is, you need a buffer. A device that holds no personal information and that doesn’t even require a sign-in.

Why? These things are no longer needed in 2025 for streaming. The device acts as your streaming entertainment device only, because that is all that is on it. APKs that give you everything you want in one place. A simple click-and-play experience for watching TV entertainment.

No more having to pay for three different subscription apps just to keep up with different TV series or movies on different platforms.

Just one APK can give you access to all paid and free subscription app content. Some of these APKs are designed even better than the original apps themselves and are so much easier to use. You look up your title, you click, and it just plays. No trying to pick out a link to see if it’s in English or if it’s even the right show or movie.

Welcome to simple streaming on the world’s greatest Jailbroken TV Box, the Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro. Now, let’s talk about why we started deGoogling the devices we offer to you.

A DeGoogle Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro, Why?

How-is-it-Owning-a-Jailbroken-Nvidia-Shield-Pro

They told you to buy, now they are telling you to trash. What a waste!

This is all about control. Who controls the streaming device you bought and paid for? You, or the company that sold it to you? I don’t want you to end up like Firestick, Onn Box, and Roku owners having zero control over your own entertainment device.

When it comes to Firesticks and the Onn Box, you don't control the updates. The companies who build the devices have that power. When Amazon pushed its update this summer, a ton of people lost their APKs. The message was essentially, "You don't have to uninstall the APK, but you can no longer use it on this Fire device." Wait, what? Yet, it's a true story. YouTubers have been trying to help people regain control over their devices ever since.

For Onn Box owners two summers ago, Walmart pushed an update that GEO-locked the device from working outside the US even in Canada. Which made no sense because Canada has Walmarts that were selling the Onn Boxes to Canadians. Then, just last summer, Walmart pushed an update to Android 14 that bricked people's devices. Oh, and you couldn't stop the update; you had no control. Did Walmart replace the devices they bricked? Only if you bought the device within the last 12 months and still had a receipt. People online started telling others to go into Walmart and swap their bricked device for a new one from the box. It was wild, I must say.

Now, when the Android 11 Experience 9.0 update happened to the Nvidia Shield TV Pros, it went a little differently. You actually had a choice of whether you wanted to update. Many people noticed 20% slower speeds, how it started to block APKs, and how it messed up Kodi and Plex.

But what NVIDIA did differently was put the older firmware versions, like Android 9 version 8.2.3, on its website for developers. A lot of people rolled back to that. We went even further back to Android 9 version 8.2.1 for full control and to get rid of the home screen ads. The point is, even when a premium streaming device maker makes a mistake, they gave you, the customer, the power to fix it, unlike the cheaper streaming devices that want full control.

How-is-it-Owning-a-Jailbroken-Nvidia-Shield-Pro

No Google Play Services, Play Store, or Play Protect.

Fast forward to 2025, and Google has made the first move by announcing they will start banning sideloaded APKs.

Well, it’s not that simple. There's more information to this statement that everyone is leaving out. Google is banning APKs where the developer won't identify themselves to Google.

I don't blame the developers; I wouldn't do it either. You are creating APKs, not always for streaming piracy, but for other uses that make our lives easier so why do you need to say who you are? There are a ton of faceless YouTube channels; is Google going to start making those people reveal their identities?

To me, this is a step too far for Google, a company that was built on "Don't be evil." Yeah, they are far past that statement now. But where there's a will, there's a way. So yes, Google runs Android, but there are two Android platforms. The lesser-known one is Android Open-Source Project (AOSP), the part Google doesn't own. What Google does own is now being called the Google-certified Android ecosystem.

A great example of a device using Android open-source is Huawei. You know, that company whose products got restricted in the US back in 2017. They created high-quality devices that looked like Apple products and ran on Android but outside of Google's control, making them a better option for tons of people.

Huawei gave us the idea to use ADB debugging to turn off Google Play Services, the Play Store, and Play Protection. This makes the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 appear as an uncertified Android device to Google. To run features like AI upscaling, you don't need the Google services running. The Google software has nothing to do with NVIDIA's software running the device or its features.

Therefore, we replaced the Google Play Store with other popular Android App Stores and APK shops. Now, let us explain what our Elite System is and why we decided to put it on the Nvidia Shield Pro.

Our Elite System on the Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro

How many of you deal with constant buffering, lagging, and freezing? You probably think you need faster internet, but here's the secret: when you are streaming, it's your UPLOAD speeds that matter, not your download speeds. That's why you need hardware powerful enough to handle the data flow.

This device runs on a 64Bit OS with top tier hardware, and when you plug in the Ethernet cable, you get a flawless, buffer free experience. That's the foundation everything else is built on. No other streaming device on the market can pull this off.

What we call the Elite System is a customized launcher that now hosts 68 APKs, all working together as one to give you access to all entertainment, for free, worldwide. Nothing else on the market is built like it.

You know we're on a different level because we only offer two premium devices: the Nvidia Shield Pro and Apple TV 4K. These systems were thought out and tested for years, and we crowned the Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro the overall winner, the only must-have streaming device you need.

Here’s what the Elite System delivers:

  • All-in-One Access: It doesn’t matter what app the content is on; this device can pull it up. Everything is in one place: just click and play. Want free 4K, HDR, and Dolby Vision? It's possible with a quick, 10 minute setup we show you in our video guide.

  • Live Sports & Multiscreen: We just added Multiscreen. Cancel the Sunday Ticket and never worry about the stream going down. Watch any game you want, including Live sports events and PPVs, all at once. I’m looking at you, basketball openers.

  • Boxing, MMA, Wrestling: From major promotions to hard to find events from Japan, this device can find it.

  • Live TV & EPG: Get live TV from local, premium, and international channels, complete with an EPG (TV Guide). (Note: I'm in the USA, so for specific international channels, please let us know what you're looking for!)

  • Anime Library: Remember Funimation? People bought anime only to lose it when the platform shut down. Our device has access to those series and more, in multiple languages and dubs with over 134 subtitle options.

  • Premium Music & Fitness: Stream free premium music from apps beyond Spotify. We even included fitness programs.

  • Instant Replay (On Demand): My favorite feature, goes back and lets you watch any live sports event without commercials. (For full archives of certain MMA events, a debrid account is recommended but not required).

  • 3D Movies: Yes, you can even stream 3D movies for free if you have a compatible projector or TV.

Designed for the Long Haul:

This device is designed to run for 3 to 5 years or longer, saving you an estimated $10,000 a year on entertainment worldwide. Our office's original Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro is going on its 6th year and still feels brand new.

We’ve expanded the storage with a 128GB USB drive, and the device can even be used for downloads (though, for copyright reasons, we’ll let your imagination run wild with that).

Every APK updates itself, you’ll just get a pop-up to install. We use the original versions because ad-free mods often block updates. Instead, we use a special system wide Adblocker with Cloudflare for privacy, so no VPN is needed while streaming.

Finally, if you ever need to use an app that requires Google sign-in, it's easy. Just sign into microG, which acts as Google Play Services for deGoogled Android devices.

I could go on for ages, but that’s why we have video manuals. This device is the culmination of dreaming big to pull off something incredible.

FAQ: Owning a Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro in 2025/2026

You've read the story, you've seen the vision. Now, let's get to the practical questions you might have before making the leap.

Q1: Is this actually legal? I'm still confused about the streaming vs. piracy thing.

This is the most important question. To be clear: We are not lawyers, and this is not legal advice. However, based on the law as of 2025, streaming pirated content is not illegal for the end user in the US. What is illegal is downloading, distributing, or hosting that content (like IPTV services do). Our device and Elite System are designed around this legal grey area, utilizing streaming only APKs that function as search engines. We provide the tool; how you use it is your responsibility.

Q2: Why is it "Jailbroken" and "DeGoogled"? What does that actually do for me?

"Jailbroken" means we've liberated the device from the restrictions imposed by NVIDIA and Google. "DeGoogled" is how we did it. By removing and disabling Google's core services, we achieve three things:

  • Total Control: Google and NVIDIA can't push an update that breaks your APKs or locks down your device.

  • Enhanced Privacy: Google isn't tracking your viewing habits.

  • Long-Term Stability: The experience you have today is the experience you'll have for years to come. No forced updates, no removed features.

Q3: What happens when an APK in the Elite System stops working?

The nature of the apps we curate is that they are constantly being updated by their developers to adapt. Since our system allows APKs to auto-update, they will typically fix themselves. If a major app becomes permanently obsolete, we research and test a replacement and provide our customers with a simple guide on how to install it, ensuring your device evolves with the landscape.

Q4: Do I need a VPN?

For the streaming you'll be doing with our Elite System, no. Our built-in Adblocker with Cloudflare provides a layer of privacy for streaming. A VPN is generally only needed for downloading copyrighted material, which this device and our service are not designed for.

Q5: I'm not tech-savvy. Is this device difficult to use?

Not at all. This was a core goal of the Elite System. We've done all the complex work. What you get is a simple, unified interface where you find a show or movie, click it, and it plays. It's designed to be easier than switching between Netflix, Hulu, and Max.

Q6: Why the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019? Isn't it outdated?

This is the key to our entire business! The Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 has unmatched hardware that still outperforms nearly every other streaming device on the market today. More importantly, its software on Android 9 (version 8.2.1) is the last truly stable, customizable, and controllable version before Google and NVIDIA started locking things down. It's a peak hardware/software combo that may never be repeated, which is why it's becoming a legend.

Q7: What's the difference between your Jailbroken Shield and just sideloading an app on a Fire Stick?

Control and power. A Fire Stick is a cheap, locked-down device controlled by Amazon. They can and will remove your apps with an update. The Nvidia Shield Pro is a premium device that we've made truly yours. It's like the difference between renting a room where the landlord can barge in anytime (Fire Stick) and owning your own fortified castle (our Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro).

Q8: How long will this device realistically last?

The hardware is built to last for many years, our office unit is going on 6 years strong. Because we've frozen the software in a perfect, deGoogled state and the APK ecosystem self-updates, the functionality should remain intact for the foreseeable future. We confidently design it for 3-5+ years of service.

Q9: Is everything really free? What's the catch?

The catch is that you are accessing content through third-party apps that are supported by ads (which our Adblocker can remove). You are not paying subscription fees to Netflix, Max, or cable companies. The one time cost is for the physical device and our lifetime of customization, curation, and support.

Q10: Why are you stopping sales in the future?

Our plan to eventually stop offering the Jailbroken Shield Pro was based on the assumption that NVIDIA would release a newer, better model. They haven't. However, the 2019 models are finite. Once the remaining high-quality stock is gone, they're gone for good. We're not stopping because the model is failing; we'll stop because the legendary device that makes it all possible is no longer available.

In Conclusion: How is it Owning a Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro

I want to make this very clear, this Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro is not for everyone, and that is okay. For those who it is for, you'll know it because you'll think about it all day and find yourself back on our website over and over again.

Don’t think of this as just buying a streaming device. You are investing in peace of mind while streaming. This is streaming done right, without all the headaches and problems you've run into in the past.

"If you're going to let what you do be based upon what you hear & read, you better make certain the people who are giving you the advice are getting PHENOMENAL RESULTS!" — Bob Proctor.

As you can see, we are getting phenomenal results with the Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro. How many others can say, "Oh yes, you can watch 3D movies with this device"? Think about it, I’ll wait.

The whole point of this device was to solve the buffering problem we had with Jailbroken Firesticks. It didn’t matter which Firestick it was. If you sideloaded APKs onto it, within a short amount of time, it would buffer. It would get even worse after an update. It didn’t matter what we did, from cleaning the cache to hooking it up with an Ethernet cable. The Firesticks would always buffer, and it got so bad they would just freeze.

By that time, I was over it. I was done with all Firesticks. I got up, unplugged the Firestick, and tossed it out of my 5th-floor Brooklyn apartment. From there, we unfortunately tried the Google TV 4K and ran into the same problems within six months of owning that device.

We later learned the hard truth; cheap streaming devices are not built for sideloaded APKs. And yet we're all shocked when they don't work!

Cheap streaming devices run on a 32-bit OS and hardware, meaning they can only process 4GB of memory at a time. Well, my question for you is, how much memory comes in a cheap streaming device? Oh yeah, about 5GB, give or take. That leaves almost 1GB of space for updates. Yea, no room for sideloaded APKs, which can run up to 1GB. And 6GB if we were to try and load our full Elite System onto the device.

We've been using the wrong devices this whole time. And I don't think anyone has stepped back to really see what the problem was.

The Nvidia Shield Pro, on the other hand, was built for sideloaded APKs. With it, there are no headaches or buffering problems. So what are you waiting for? A letter in the mail?

No. Just click to order your Jailbroken Nvidia Shield Pro today, before the price goes up to $925.
